An extra long 50 foot low-volt (switched) central vacuum hose in light grey color from Plastiflex. The Plastiflex low-volt hose is a premium quality component with unsurpassed airflow and flexibility in an oversized 1 3/8" ID hose body. The larger diameter adds more room for the air to move through the hose while cleaning with less resistance providing you the best airwattage from your power unit, an estimated 20% increase in performance as compared to 1.25" hoses. Low-volt central vacuum hoses are two-wire systems and allow you to control your central vacuum power unit from a switch on the hand grip when connected to a standard low-volt central vacuum inlet. Low-volt hoses work with airflow only systems and turbo powered carpet cleaning nozzles but do not provide the high voltage (120V AC) to operate an electric powered nozzle.
