The COM14 uses a window-cut bristle set that has a large open intake in the front with a full wrap of bristle on the sides and back of the nozzle. The soft synthetic bristles are extra thick to provide support for the nozzle so no wheels are needed. The bristle set provides a highly conforming foot print that cleans in a single pass. The COM14 floor brush is particularly good at cleaning large volumes of debris such as dirt, sawdust, sand, salt and other debris. The large front opening allows big spills and chunky debris into the nozzle easily and the thick bristle set focuses the airflow and prevents soils from passing under the nozzle. The plush synthetic fill of the COM14 is particularly well suited to vacuuming dust from floors.

Unlike most floor nozzles that use a castle-cut or other design of bristle arrangement that require several passes to remove dust that is electrostatically clinging to the floor, COM14's all bristle design ensures that all dust on the floor is contacted by bristle and swept into the airflow stream. Absent wheels, the COM14 is safe to use on all floor types, walls and textured surfaces without scratching. The COM14 nozzle is designed only to cleaning hard surfaces (no carpets) and the all brush cleaning style is best for soils and dusting.
