The model 226117 filter element is replaceable and features a Dupont Teflon non-stick coating to enhance release and extend life. With normal care and use the filter element will last the life of the vacuum unit. Fits models AV2500, AV3500, AV4500, AV5500, ZV3500, AV425. Fits all models of AVP Platinum series & AVR Red Bagless series AirVacs (AVP3000, AVP7500, AVP12000, AVP24000, AVR3000, AVR7500, AVR12000, AVR24000). Replaces older part number 112996-5 which was a non-teflon cloth filter. Measures approximately 44.5" in circumference and 10" in depth. Filter has a metal band sewn into the collar that locks the filter in place. Install Tip -- the sewn edge of the center weight faces towards the motor (clean side).
