The all metal exhaust vent is both an attractive and durable cover. Formed from two pieces of sheet steel this vent cover is similar in design to other vents often found on the exterior of a home. Painted with a tough enamel in black satin the vent can also be repainted to match exterior trim. The metal exhaust vent measures 6.5 inches square, and 2.75 inches deep at it's thickest point from front to back.
The connection from the back is 2 inches inside diameter and designed to accept a standard PVC vacuum tube with or without glue. The always open vent offers maximum exhaust airflow while protecting the vent opening from the weather. A bird screen is welded inside the vent and two screw holes are pre-drilled for mounting with screws of your choice. Primarily designed for wall mounted down-vent applications, the metal exhaust vent could also be used as a directional exhaust on a soffit that will protect the opening from weather and animals.
